Infant Mental Health

PREVENT evaluation & Dyadic Therapy – ITS & Lodge
Dyadic therapy is for babies and toddlers and their mothers for the purpose of mending and strengthening the parent/child bond, to rebuild a healthy and secure attachment/relationship. Therapy helps the child rebuild trust, develop a secure attachment, work through trauma and fears and helps parents with parenting skills.

PREVENT evaluation & Enhanced Case Management - ITN
The first step in the infant mental health enhanced case management process is the first Parent-Child Assessment – the PREVENT Evaluation.  This is a comprehensive assessment, which involves an interview with the mother, an initial (structured) observation of the parent-child interaction and attachment, then a follow-up home visit.
